Pat Guyton was a modern dancer, gymnastic coach, physical medicine assistant in Colorado, and a founder of The Ron Fletcher Program of Study. She enjoys running, hiking, and skiing. Pat began teaching Pilates over 22 years ago when Stephan Frease brought Pilates to Boulder in 1985. She then had the opportunity to work with First Generation Master Teachers Bruce King and Kathy Grant. In 1995, Pat met Ron Fletcher and has focused her study on his lineage of the work for over 11 years. Pat has presented at many venues nationally and internationally. Pat has a vision to create a comprehensive environment for Pilates movement study. Pat is very active in the growth of the Pilates community. She has served on the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) board of directors since 2002 and is the current Vice President of the PMA. Pat believes that it is critical that the highest standards of excellence, as taught by Joseph and Clara Pilates, be maintained. She is in the process of syllabus development of a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program.
Pat enjoys working with the full spectrum of clientele from the seriously injured patient to the advanced athlete seeking performance enhancement.
